The test has been developed to incorporate the analysis of both perchlorate and chlorate. The test also meets the required reporting limits for both liquid milk and dairy products.
The EU have banned these compounds. In addition these compounds also feature on the Nestle contaminants list.
All that is required is 10 mL of liquid milk or 50 g of product.
